Brake fluid reservoir sensor wire

Something seems to have chewed through this wire for my brake fluid reservoir sensor. But I can't find where this wire used to connect. Tried looking in WIS but no luck. Can anyone help with a photo or explanation? I'm guessing the other end of the wire fell down a crevice because none of the wiring harness within reach has any open ends.

@det000 had a chance to work on my car today and took this pic. Hopefully it helps a little. That sensor wire (red arrow) is bundled up into a larger harness (green arrow). Maybe you can peel back some of the cloth tape of the large harness and salvage what's left.

Thank you @LAsunset !!

This is exactly what I needed. The other end was tucked well under the larger wire. Only had about 1 inch to work with but was able to make the repair. You saved me an expensive trip to the shop!

Did you end up soldering or crimping? Quite the tight space.

Soldering. Definitely a tight space and little wire to work with. But sadly not my first rodeo making this kind of repair 😅
