Anybody order a GT GTC GTR lately waiting on allocation

Agree with the last point! I think the opposite though for steel vs CC. CC is great for street use. They should last ~100K miles and they produce almost no brake dust and give better steering feel.
For track use I would use steel, and this is what most racers do. CC last 2-3X longer than steel, but that's still not very long for track use. And any chips from flying rocks or debris and you're rotors are toast.

And no dust. 😉 Never had any problems with my Speciale, FF or F12 brakes.

I was just informed that the order I placed in October will not be filled. The dealer which is an AMG performance center, will not be getting an allocation until the 2021 model year. I’m bummed.

I called the dealer today , my GTC I ordered in October had a build date of 1/31 , after seeing above post I thought I was screwed , the dealer called me back , it was finished yesterday , should see it mid Feb , hopefully so
