RennTech HHT (hand held tuner) allows you the unlimited ability to switch between tuned and stock ECU programming and requires no ECU removal. Our proprietary tuning module stores both the RennTech tuned file and your vehicles stock file. The module plugs directly into the OBD2 port and delivers the file you choose directly to the ECU. Please note that the Mercedes M178 engine performance when measured, obtains higher numbers than rated from factory. The maximum power number reached with the RennTech ECU Upgrade for the AMG GT R is 659 HP and 614 LB-FT.

The Mercedes GT is the second Mercedes Benz vehicle fully developed by AMG, the company’s Affalterbach based performance division and long fabled engine builder. The resulting vehicle is nothing short of spectacular and the 4.0L V8 BiTurbo engine within is an incredible platform to build performance upon. RennTech lightweight forged billet turbo wheels feature a dramatically larger than stock impeller (inlet side) and an increase in the turbine trim (exhaust side). This combination of high quality, light weight components compensates for turbo lag despite being a functionally larger turbo. The cartridge supporting shaft is also both larger and stronger designed to handle the larger wheels and additional power. This entire cartridge is then fine balanced as a complete assembly to compensate for these increases. The impeller and turbine housings are then precision CNC machined and flow tested in-house to fit the larger internal cartridge. The end result is nothing short of spectacular with the RennTech turbo package gaining up to 152 hp and 91 lb-ft. More power isn’t the only performance benefit as our turbos spool quicker, offer a more responsive throttle and immediate power delivery thanks to a reduction in exhaust back pressure, rolling resistance, higher RPM's and a lighter rotating mass. In addition, our turbo upgrade kit functions with the OEM oil and coolant lines. This isn’t just an OEM turbo charger with machined internals; but a dramatically larger, more powerful turbocharger that blows away anything else on the market. The RennTech performance turbo upgrade is truly the ultimate upgrade for your AMG GT R.

RennTech Front Canards was designed, engineered and tested in-house as a fully functional aerodynamic exterior upgrade for the AMG GT R. Its high-quality prepreg carbon fiber construction is finished in a beautiful gloss top coat to ensure years of durability and stunning good looks. RennTech front canards give AMG GT R an aggressive makeover. RennTech unique canards design not only looks menacing but also greatly improves airflow and front end downforce. Fit and finish meets OEM Mercedes-Benz quality standards thanks to the parts 100% pre-preg carbon fiber construction. The canards kit also features a unique acrylic coating process which protects the carbon fiber from any harmful UV and humidity degradation. This acrylic coating is applied inside and out to ensure full coverage and protection, unlike any other coating process. Once the acrylic coating is cured, the part is then covered using a high end automotive clear coat to create a beautiful gloss finish. The full kit consits of 4 dive planes. Two stacked pieces for each the driver and the passenger side. Canards are applied with double sided tape and can be removed without damage the paint or drilling into the bumper

RennTech AMG GT R Brake Ducts are designed to improving brake performance during dynamic road and track driving. Significantly increasing the longevity of brake pads, rotors and calipers, the Brake Ducts are the first step toward a more powerful and efficient brake setup for the AMG GT R.
Whether your AMG GT R is equipped with iron or carbon ceramic rotors, the factory brake system is set up for everyday use and road driving. It is vital to understand that hard/spirited driving creates high temperatures around the brakes, which go far beyond everyday driving conditions. The function of the brake duct is to direct airflow to the center of the brake assembly, lowering the temperature of the brakes and lessening the possibility of brake fade.
In combination with RennTech performance Brake Pads, Brake Lines, Performance Brake Upgrade, and high-temperature brake fluid (600-degrees or higher), demanding drivers and track racers can build a street and track worthy brake system for their AMG GT R, which will save money, be safer, and make for an more inspiring driving experience.

RennTech plug & play EVM Exhaust Valve Module allows you to open the exhaust flaps of your car 100% at all times by pressing Button 1 on the remote control. If you wish to go back to factory settings simnply press Button 2. This gives you complete control over the exhaust sound and rumble of your car at any time regardless of speed, RPM or driving mode. The RennTech Exhaust Valve Module is made in Germany. If your car is equipped with factory exhaust flaps, with or without a center console button to open or close them, factory settings do not allow the flaps to fully open unless certain speed and/or RPM have been reached. For example, while cruising the exhaust flaps will never fully open.
