I can't seem to find anywhere to plug in my Uniden R3 Radar other than the 12V in the trunk which does not reach the window. Is there another 12V closer to the dash? Has anyone used mirror-tap?

There's one in the cup holder. It's oddly placed and is down inside, opposite the dash.
Mirror tap is the way to go. Just get the kit with the smaller leads as that’s what is needed get them in there snug.
