Vic: gorgeous combo and love the matte paint but you knew that.
How does it compare to your Ed1 E63?
How's the BMW matte paint? The MB matte is really good and the early report of the frost paint on the M3 were not favorable.
They were throwing stupid lease prices on 19 left over M5s last year and was tempted. Even tuned, it seems it's still quite slower than my tuned grocery getter Trackhawk.

So I wrote this based on a 2 day test drive before I got the F90 in comparo to the W218. I liked it better then and still do to this day. Im not sure what a tuned Trackhawk does (stock dragtimes are way slower than stock f90's) but the faster stock turbo F90 guys with a JB4 and proper fuel run closer to 10.3 or 10.4's in the 130's and mid 2 second zero to 60's. When I said I have a tune, its a fixed piggy with no real map adjustments for fuel called RaceChip and I got this because there were no other options back then. My local friend Mike has an F90 with stock turbos, DME tune, dp's, proper fuel and some other mini mods and he runs 9.88 at 138. His 60 to 130 is awesome too (high 5's or close to it). Im not into modding fuels or doing extensive exhaust work so I just did the piggy and got me a 10 second 4 door luxo car. This is my first BMW matte paint and its holding up rather well. I find the quality to be equal to my E63S Edition 1 paint even after more than a year of ownership.

I'm a bit old school. Social media is not my thing................I've never joined Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat or Grinder (Vic's recommendation).
That said, I do love automotive forums and this one is about as good as they come. I've been an avid car enthusiast since I was young and joined my first car forum in 2001. Since then I've joined many more sites but no place has provided me with as much good advice, endless laughs and a few good friends.

Thanks. Really impressive platform to be in the low 10s with just very simple bolt ons. Was not aware they had gotten into the 9s as well. I have not seen such success on the E63 platform yet or am I missing that as well?
Here's the package I have on mine. A bit more involved as far as bolt ons are concerned but still did it with a friend in his garage and cost was about $6K. very low 2s to 60 which is used to beat the unsuspecting P100D.

It's obviously a straight line shooter and not up to par interior wise with the Germans but the upgraded interior still makes it a nice place to be. For about $90K all in, it will do as a DD.

Yeah the W213 has not fared well with mods like the F90. There are few cars up there but they have full rebuilt turbos etc. There is something in the ECU that holds it back I guess but I havent really delved much into the car since I dumped my W213 about 1 year ago. I had a tune on it and the gains were really quite minimal. The F90 really takes on basic performance mods quite well. Most of the guys with decent fuel and JB4's run a 2.4 to 2.6 in the zero to 60 and this mod is about 1k for the unit and then fuel upgrade pricing. I am not even adding in exhaust mods like down pipes. But the car can just keep going and going. It has its limitations and doesnt have a mod platform like a GTR nor should it but for being out less than 2 years its impressive.
I guess there is some guy now running high 9.7X's in a F90 but I dont know the exact mods.

Can I pick your brain on what you would recommend for a tune for the X75.0. My friend been waiting patiently for Dinan but if there's a stealth way to increase power without the dealer seeing it, he might be open.
Cool mods for the Jeep!!

I don't know where you get your information, but forums are flourishing in every sector. People are fleeing Facebook over privacy concerns, which is why they started 'groups'; to compete with forums which still drive a large amount of traffic on the net and have proven revenue models.

In reality if the dealer looks, the dealer finds. But I think a piggy back like a JB4 would be perfect for you (if available). Dinan might have one but none of the members I converse with ever considered it on the F90 so the X7 is probably an even longer shot. On my F90 I just pull the box and wires for each service and it takes all of 10 min for removal and reinstall, I just lose a few zip ties each time.
