Sent a copy of Southern Utah magazine when my car was featured on the back cover and some masks to my pops. My sis called and wanted me to send my pops some N-95 masks. Found out I can do it all online and Postman will pick it up from your house. My pops is amazing. He served in Vietnam and was also in Oahu when Pearl Harbor was bombed because my grandfather was in the Navy and stationed there. Navy kids had to take a small ferry right through battleship row to get to Ford Island where the school was. He was standing on the roof of their quarters and saw the planes coming in. Lot more to him and that story but perhaps another time. Here I am with him and my two sisters around 1968. It's a pic of a pic is why the resolution is so low.

Thanks to your Pops and the greatest generation, we’ve been able to afford the pleasure of cars like these.

I appreciate his dedication to our country and self sacrifice. We need to honor and take care of those who help us become so fortunate.

Here's another pic of my pops and I. Thought I'd share this story. This is a pic of my dad and I in 1967 racing at the Carrera Autorennbahn. Slot car racing was big back then. This was at a local track in Erlangen, Germany. My dad was stationed in Herzogenaurach and that's where we lived. I have so many memories of all that. Anyways, we'd go every weekend racing the slot cars on the track. We (well my dad) was pretty good. I remember he had this special concoction he mixed up and put on the tires for better grip. He'd always let others use it as well. Another vivid memory I have is one time a guys car came off the track in front of me and my dad was somewhere with our car and I had the controller. So I picked it up and put it on our lane and started driving it. Guy came over yelling nein - nein.
