Ceramic Pro

First, the correction work itself is the most important work you can do here. With the ceramic coating you're just protecting whatever the status of your paint is at the time of the seal - if it's not perfect, the coating won't improve those imperfections and it will be next to impossible to get them out once you ceramic coat your car. That said, there is significant differences between the Ceramic Coat product (by name) and CQ Quarts.
The biggest factor is you can't get CP off the shelf. The company limits access to detailers that have signed up and completed application training. Secondly, it's really a 2 stage product rather than a single stage like the aforementioned CQ product. It has the ceramic coating; depending on the level of service you purchase will determine what the package name is (ie 'gold' is 4 coats). The application is virtually the same, but you see it slightly more shiny than the CQ or less expensive alternatives. From there, they have something called 'top coat' that is applied 24hrs after your last coat of ceramic. This is where the clear differentiator is - it gives the finish a completely wet look and makes it bulletproof in terms of keeping it looking like it was just detailed and waxed. Its an exceptional product. You really do get what you paid for....there is a strong warranty when you have it done and if registered correctly by the detailer it will also show up on a CarFax report!
No coating for me, just a top notch film job
if I get the GTR BS, then this will go on there as well
2. I did PPF protection on my GTS but probably wont ever do it again on a car like this. I would do it on a more expensive car that maintains it's value and original paint is super important. A few minor rock chips or repaint the front bumper isn't a big deal to me.
3. Yes you can do wax/polish/seal every year and pay $200-300 a pop or just do coating once at $1000. If you're going to keep the car 3-4 years, it's a wash. I'd rather just do it once and not have to worry about it for the rest of my ownership span.
Those are just my opinions. I get some people are way more into their cars than I am and need them free of any rock chips and enjoy spending time detailing them every month.
