Taking delivery on Wednesday. Few questions

Hello,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Been doing a lot of research and have to thank all the members of this site for sharing their information on this great car. I have been searching for a while and finally will be taking delivery of my 2016 GTS on Wednesday. I am very excited. I have a few questions for the group here.
1. Do you recommend that I get an aftermarket warranty? I have heard the stories about how much AMG service/parts can be, so that makes me a bit nervous. The car has 11,00 miles and I will probably put about 5k miles on per year for the next 3 years when I will undoubtedly see something shiny and have to trade this in.
2. If the answer to the previous question is "yes", whom do you recommend? Fidelity, Carchex?
3. Are there any "must-have" mods? I am not talking about power or tunes, but instead, things that everyone swaps out because it is better than OEM. Items that are more durable or reliable etc... Before I take delivery, I want to get anything of these types of things taken care of.
4. I have to say, the one thing that bothers me a little is the AMG Performance seat. Seems very hard. Then again, it's just my opinion. I would love it if there was a non-performance seat option as I will probably not be taking this to the track more than once or twice a year. Coming out of the bucket seats in my Cayman GT4 I expected these seats to be much more comfortable. Not a deal breaker, just an observation.
5. How long before I stop getting a Sh*t eating grin every time I step on the gas? :-)

only must do in my opinion is cut out the secondary resonators and weld in straight pipe. Huge bang for your buck.

Lots will argue tune, etc., but enjoy it for a bit first.

On track you'll want SRF or RBF or otherwise the best brake fluid you can buy. Extra cooling scoops help (Renntech, tikt, or simpler option from Ansix auto.

^ Yea I can't think of any mods other than downpipes or secondary cat delete.

Maybe stereo if you have the base Burmester and care about that stuff.

Congrats

The seats aren’t as hard as you think...

delete the secondary cats and put good rubber on it like Michelin PS4 then enjoy.

if you are tracking even a little then a brake fluid swap is mandatory. Also make sure you have enough pads before the track day, at least 50-75%...

enjoy!

Most of the after-market warranties are great right up until the point that you have a mechanical problem with your car and try to make a claim.

But there is a non-performance seat, it's called Comfort Seat. The performance seat is the paid extra.
