$2,600.00 is a fair price I'd say since the tune alone is $2,400.00

This ECU will not be coded to work in any other vehicles. You may want to point that fact out to potential buyers.

I was worried about that, oh well another reason not to waste any money on aftermarket tunes in the future but a dealership and still reflash it back to stock..

The ECU is coded to your car, your VIN, Key and Central Gateway. Selling an ECU already coded to another car will have same outcome 100% stock or tuned.

Thanks for the info and a now totally useless ECU. Just more money waisted on what is now junk..

Had I known this in the beginning I never would have waisted the money..

I guess everyone can now learn from my mistake, don't pay for a tune that is not yours to do with as you like..

You can always sell the ecu as is. They can code it to the vin of whoever you sold it to. Eurocharged did it for me. But there’s a fee.

I haven't sold it so far but thanks for that info..
I may just smash it for fun at this point it'll make a fun video to show what a rip off these tuning guys really are.
Ya buy something but it's not really yours to do what ever you like with it after all it's not like I'm stealing someone's intellectual property as they are with their stolen software and then rebranding it.
So far none of these tunes on the market are any better than the other and that is a clear fact to me that they are all the same.

So if ya buy a tune for your car beware because not only are you voiding your warrantee you are tossing your money down the ****ter at the end of the day..

What's the male equivalent of a Karen?

This guy must have nekkid pics of the mods to be a dick 24/7 and bash sponsors for no reason.

I don't get it either. He's frothing at the mouth over something that is painfully obvious to anyone else who buys a tune. Imagine thinking your cloned and tuned spare ECU is going to work in anyone else's car.

What is wrong with this guy, it's as if he cannot read or reason. I'm sure when you first bought the ECU tune it clearly says it cannot be interchanged... Just like the AP racing thread, this guy cannot read nor reason.
