Cargo Compartment - using the kick sensor
Stll learning the features on my newly acquired GTS....
The manual on my 2016 GTS shows it has a kick sensor to open the rear compartment using a kicking motion with a key nearby. However, I've never gotten it to work and don't see any sensors under the rear tail. Wonder if sensors are hidden under the carbon fiber rear tail or a part of the reverse light.
Was this an "extra feature" or standard on all cars?

I can get it to work first time every time. Put foot in one license plate and while foot is in the air under the license plate, pull your foot back out parallel to the ground. The issue i have is that it only releases the latch. On my other cars, the trunk is a power trunk and it actually lifts up. Just releasing the latch isn't all the helpful since you still need to lift it up.

Dyc1077, Thanks for the tip!! Do you have the carbon fiber exterior package?
If not, I tend to agree with tl3flondon this feature will not work with the carbon fiber exterior package as I've kicked the rear bumper more than a soccer ball gets kicked at an MLS match.
