a sticker on brand new AMG GTR - to hide something ?

I just bought a brand new AMG GTR , and yesterday was the first time I wash the car , then I realize there are 2 stickers on both sides with the same mat color of the car !!
My question are those stickers was applied by the manufacturer to hide a scratch or its normal to find them on the AMG GTR ?

At least these stone guards aren't too noticeable on the AMG. The clear stone guards on White 911's have always been a sore spot. After 3 to 5 years, they can really start to yellow and need to be redone. I keep thinking Porsche can do a better job in this area.
