so you may know about sticking cupholder issue. Dealer refused to replace mine and said its a $6000 repair.
so I ended up disassembling the console and fixing the thing with a spring from sharpie pen and some rivets

That's surprising. Who is that dealer? We should all avoid them.
I got mine fixed at a dealer I didn't buy the car from. It was no prob.

Sharpies don't have springs in them lol

I spend my "quality time" reading all the Carfax reports on AMG GT cars to look for trends in defects and trouble spots. Its a fairly common problem in the early years (2016 - 2017) for cupholders to fail and require replacement.

I would like to see if there are lots of entries for the wiggling drivers seat, and also, when the muffler valve fails.

that's good. I had this issue too. Replaced under warranty. Since then I have been more gentle with it. I think it helps.
