2016 GTS, E85 anyone?
I have had my 2016 GTS for almost 3 years now, bought it as a CPO back in 2018 with less than 6k miles on it.
Performance wise, I’ve installed:
Catless DPs
Pure Turbos stage 2
Upgraded Spark Plugs
Go Labworks tune with handheld
My tuner is telling me that to unlock the power from the pure turbos without having to use 100 octane race gas, I can have a HPFP installed, recommending Xtreme DI, and he can send me a new map to be able to use E85 pump gas, and gain very good HP and torque numbers.
Has anyone done this? Your thoughts? Thanks.

I'd be interested to hear how well the GTS tolerates E85 over the long term, but I do continue to be surprised at people wanting such high HP in a RWD car, I run 93 and have downpipes and a tune and the back end likes to get wiggly at full throttle...

I have no idea why Mercedes didn’t use their 4matic AWD system on these cars. Ridiculous.

Regarding your turbos, are they the Pure 900's? I've been considering getting a set just so I can enjoy a full power band all the way to redline.
Yes I have the 900’s, stage 2. I would definitely recommend against it unless you have access to 93 octane daily. With 91 the tune is too conservative and does not add barely any power versus just catless DP and tune. That’s why I’m going the HPFP route so I can use e85.

E85 should make a BIG difference - I'd guess 25-50% depending on how aggressive of a tune you decide on. Best of luck with the build, I'll be watching excitedly

I was making 700whp and it dead hooked in 2nd gear on a sunny 70 degree day.
Is R888R the way to go? Can you easily drive with these? Are they terrible in the rain? It barely rains here in LA anyway. Can you go with 325’s in the rear? Thanks in advance.
which tire do you recommend which is much stickier that stock tires but is not that noisy and does ok in rainy weather?
