iS IT A SCAM OR HAND HELD TUNERS WORK?
So a Renntech, weisetech, or DME tune will come you 2 or 3k, but this tuner promises 100hp (like DME) and only costs 700?
got to be a scam right? or anyone used it and dyno it after?

Not sure exactly what you are talking about and I didn't research JB4 as it applies to GTs. But in the BMW world JB4 is a piggyback. Should cost in that price range and produce that type result. But it's not a reflash for the ECU. Seems from the threads I've read that eurocharged is the way to go.

I use a handheld programmer on my GTS and my GL63 with Stage 1 mapping from OE Tuning. Have not had any issues. I have not had the cars dynoed but can tell a big difference from stock on both vehicles. The ability to change to OEM Mapping and back to Tuned is easy and takes a few minutes to do.
I have used Renntech in the past and yes they are expensive and great and all that. In this day and age of technology i dont think sending someone my ECM for a tune is necessary.
Just my 0.2.5 cents (adjusted for inflation)
