Car is on the way...ground clearance issues?

Bought a GT R, sight unseen and will be arriving in a couple of weeks. I want to be prepared with everything I need before it arrives.

I have never seen a GT R in person. It certainly looks low in pics/videos and the lack of a front end lift seems to be a terrible oversight. Do I need to get some underside protection for it? Thinking about this:

There's a minimum of about 4" clearance everywhere (assuming the GTR is set to same height as GTR Pro). The front end has not been a problem for me and it looks worse than it is ... likely because GTRs have a short wheelbase (in spite of looking like a long car) and due to the low "rake" on the front end.

I installed the TiKT brake-cooling ducts and so have only 3.5" clearance with them. Still, the only thing I have to worry about is the rounded-sidewalk type of curb that joins my driveway to the street ... if back out at too sharp an angle, the bottom of a front TiKT duct can just touch the curb (so I don't do that). The front-end is no problem.

Still (cluck like a chicken, here), I did buy one Sliplo set and installed them across the front end and the leftovers I sanded thinner and put them onto the TiKT ducts (which are carbon/kevlar fiber and do have some flex).

Thanks for the very helpful post and pics. Ordered the Sliplo set just to be safe.

When parking, always reverse in as the camera is high quality. That’s what I did with my ‘18 and I never damaged the front or rear that way.

That's how I bought my car, sight unseen, never even driven a contemporary AMG before. Was overwhelmed with Joy upon arrival and first drive.

Sometimes I can't tell if it is a car or a baby that we are all talking about here.

Well, it's a car, AND it's my baby.
