Try? I would tell them to get those things straight or they can keep it on their floor for another couple months. Why would you want to mess with the eye sore that you know you will notice every time you look at the car. You are paying premium price for the car, and as crazy as this market is the GTS is not a car everyone wants. They are a Benz dealer not some corner used car lot. I would demand they fix those gaps.
I can tell you are smitten with the car, i get it, been there. But tell them to fix it.

Good Luck

It was more of my wording when saying "try", I did ask them to do something about it but alls I did was push it back in a little and they're relatively flush now. It's really no big deal to me. I agree with you though 100%, I am smitten and did take the car but fixed it myself. If they come back out I'll just take it to a body shop and have them really do something about it.

I am hoping this story has a happy ending and a very satisfied buyer/driver. There are a lot of things I wouldn't do that turn out well. I hope this is one of them.

Please post often to tell us how much you enjoy the car.

Will do! Yeah I'm not too worried as I purchased a 36 month/36k miles extended warranty for $5k which in my opinion is a steal for this car, so I have peace of mind. I'm gonna enjoy this car to the fullest.

Was that from a dealer, third party, or the dealer's third party? I'm asking because the price is high for the amount to of term you're getting.

It's from the dealer.

i should also mention that it’s a prorated warranty too, so if I don’t use it all then I’ll get that money back.

I figured that's why, I just quoted a AMG GT for $4,589, 5 years / 75k miles, Complete Manufactures Extension through Freedom Warranty, accepted at all Mercedes Benz dealers in North America. Text or Call me at (602) 909-9216 or send me an email at tgibson@highline-autos.com if you are looking for a better price and longer terms.

Most are if you want to do business in all states. Arizona it is required, so on all of my policies I issue, no matter the customer's location, they're prorated.

Are you able to sell the Freedom Warranty if the car's factory warranty is expired?

Yes, the Manufactures Extension is the name of the most comprehensive coverage package, essentially mirroring the factory warranty.
