GTR Pro Bump 'n Squeak Noise ... Ideas?
Hopefully, someone else has experienced something similar and figured out the source. To me, it sounds like it's somewhere in the rear suspension. I have heard the noise a few times, before, but now that it's colder out they're frequent enough to be quite annoying (yeah, 1st-world problem, I know).
Note that the audio in the video has the following characteristics:
- left/front and right/rear audio channels are from separate dashcams (2x BlackVue DR900X 2-ch)
- the left/front and right/rear audio channels do not remain in-sync throughout the video
(in fact, the audio is not always in-sync with the video and, when using
the rear channel cam, it's video is almost never in sync with the front cam)
- it's best to listen with only left or right channel playing
(right/rear is normally louder because sound comes more from the rear of the car)

The sound I am experiencing sounds like it is coming from the drivers side rear tire area. Yes, happens when the car goes over bumps.
I have put a lot of track miles on my car. It has developed several good rattles now, a few of which have been fixed.
I also added the TIKT front solid uniball bushings. When the car travels over heaves and cracks in the road, the sounds and thuds are quite violent.
Some things loosening up now is to be expected.
I have also removed all the carpet and panels from the rear of the car, I hear everything now.
Can confirm that. Once only had the right trunk side panel removed. (Subwoofer).
At first I really thought, the trunk lid wasn't closed properly.
It's really hard to believe what a bit of cardboard makes up.
Your GT must now be very loud inside.
Best regards
Stenzel
