do lowering springs actually improve handling?
I really want to lose that hideous arch gap but am terrified of making the car handle worse. What makes it an issue for me is changing the springs isn't like a normal car, much more work to fit and then messing about with shims for alignment. Not a quick and easy way of messing about with settings.
I have read so many different posts and there seems to be a circle of kw is better than h&r but renntech is better than both, but then i have actually read a couple of comments saying the renntech ruined the handling.....poor geometry perhaps?
The renntech also i believe have softer springs on the rear and stiffer on the front. As opposed to slightly stiffer all round for kw. I find that odd why a third party would totally change the dynamic of the rates as opposed to stock.
Im not masivley concerned about comfort as such, i just want as good or better handling and to sit a bit lower.
Spacers as well? part of me thinks that wont help handling at all, do any of you use cars on track with spacers?
Such a shame that the car is that awesome but the wheels sit too far in the arch and the arch is abut 6ft off the ground.
Handling wise, car stays flatter and faster in corners, especially in rear.
Whatever you do, I suggest you opt for adjustability and stay away from Fixed Springs, as you will no doubt fiddle to get the right height for you. GL
In the past if i didn't like something on another car its been easy to just remove, sell and then replace. My last car was a tvr tuscan which was like a lego kit

What makes it worse is the state of the roads here in the uk
They are definitely not race track quality is all i can say
