So I guess I found AMG GTS replacement and have since pulled the trigger. This one has been a bit of a tough decision and it is a bit bitter sweet but overall I feel that I made the right call. Nice to have the new tech and having never owned a 911, I figured it was a matter of time to try one out.

Hope you have better luck with yours then what I had with mine. It needed an exorcism to get rid of all the gremlins. Wish you the best with it.

You can't go wrong with a 911, especially if you have never owned a Porsche. I've had three and they were all great cars in their own way. The ONLY knock against them is how plentiful they are, and that isn't really much of a knock. I do enjoy driving an uncommon car though.

The plentiful statement is a testament to how much people love these cars, like you said not a knock. People like to rag on the Corvette for the same reason.......

I share this opinion. There's a reason that they are so much more common than other brands in the segment, but that's also what keeps me away from them.

Beautiful car, I have also been wanting a 911 but they are very hard to get right now. Most dealers are saying over a year wait and over MSRP, how were you able to get one and how long did it take?

I too like to rag on Corvettes, for the same reason. Only Corvettes are 1000X more plentiful.

True ,but at least their body style changes as opposed to the bloated frog look that we have been seeing forever.

It's an acquired taste. I thought my 6MT 2008 Turbo Cab was beautiful. Carrera white over Cocoa, with HRE wheels.
