This place is a joke.
Other than driving it on the track or showing off to your fellow 1%-ers it doesn't serve much purpose on the street. They ride rough, are very noisy inside and throw rocks into the fenders as you hear each and every one hitting. Certainly not a streetable car you'd feel compelled to drive anywhere.

I sense some envy. There are plenty of Yugo and Preus cars out there for those who prefer comfort and efficiency.
I don’t know how far you drove one if at all but I can report first hand that as recently as this afternoon the car is a outstanding performer in traffic and on the highway. I have owned and driven both the GTS AND GTR and the Black Series is loaded with improvements over them.
As far as why soulsea is selling the car you should understand that he is constantly evaluating and trading cars. That’s what he likes to do as a hobby. He is very good at it and doesn’t do it to lose money.

There are a bunch of mega-buck exotics you can say that about,lol. Personally, I think it's a smart move by him to get some good cash out of it before the hype disappears.

I sense a bruised ego. Your assumption of jealousy is comical. Do you really think everyone wants or cares what you "have?" If you have the disposable income to afford such toys, good for you, but some people at those levels are easily bored as well, or in some cases the conquest of owning such a vehicle is more exciting than the reality of owning one. I don't know how far you drove one if at all but I can tell you you can't do anything in a GTR BS on the street that I can't do in my 18 year old modified E55. I can drive on the same streets, in the same places, at the same speeds as you, and quite frankly more comfortably and drawing less attention. But if your ego craves attention, well, we know why you covet half million dollar pieces of plastic and steel. Most people aren't "car people" and could really care less. I was around (and got to drive) when cars like the Ferrari F50 or the Diablo were released, history is just repeating itself until the next latest and greatest "exotic" 4 wheeled machine is released to do what the last hundred have done....sit in millionaire's collections and sit in traffic with the plebes. It's all very silly to covet such materialistic things isn't it?
Since you feel the way you do about the BLACK why are you taking your valuable time to post in this thread?
You saw the topic and obviously you don’t like the BS so move on to another topic.
I’ll do the same and stay away from the E55 and ML350 Topics.

Look at the special paint charges at Ferrari or Lamborghini, 8-10 times of what MB is charging.
There are other options that are truly ridiculous in that car though, like Keyless package, Lane tracking package, Touchpad or Indoor Cover (for God's sake, really????).

Welcome to the internet where everyone has an opinion that doesn't align with others.. It's not that I don't like the BS, it's a cool car. But it definitely drives like more of a race (track) car than a street car. There's always a fine balance of driveability with these exotics....Ferrari has, in the past, got it just right...you can drive them to dinner with your wife or girlfriend and the next day swap the wheels for some slicks and run at the track all day. The BS just drives like it came off the track and you can swap the wheels with some street tires, but your wife or girlfriend will complain about the noise and rough suspension. I just wonder how many buyers of these don't know what they are getting in those regards.

Paint charges are nothing unusual, some are more and other less expensive to apply.
Look at the special paint charges at Ferrari or Lamborghini, 8-10 times of what MB is charging.
There are other options that are truly ridiculous in that car though, like Keyless package, Lane tracking package, Touchpad or Indoor Cover (for God's sake, really????).

Lambo's are waaay out of my range haha, so I have/had no idea of the upcharge for paint. 8-10 times the cost of MB paints?? Damn!

Dealing with the renovation that became a virtually new construction and double the budget and legal issues with kids who happened to be in the wrong place and at the wrong time (last year infamous event).
Just the latter is costing me already an equivalent of Black Series and I don't mean the MSRP.
