Pro Fender Vents on 2016 GTS
Well after lots of anxiety and my butt puckering the entire time, I cut the front fenders for the APR Carbon Fiber fender vents. I had to Cut off the tabs on the APR vents to fit in the hole made for the Renntech fender extractors. Will cut out the inner fenders and fender supports for the extractors this week. I will post more pics as the process continues.

I just puckered too. Looks like you have made it through the worst part. Do you just prefer the APR vents to the Renntech’s? I know I do.

I like both but APRs are almost 1/3 the cost. I had ordered a bunch of parts from APR and decided to go with them when I got the other stuff.

I would buy direct. I bought the GTR Pro wing (had to purchase the pro base for mine), the vents, and a custom front splitter. All are made very well and their service is great! I would recommend chris@aprperformance.com. Great guy, and super knowledgeable!
saw that too....I just got a pro and the pricing is so low (comparatively) it had me wondering what I might end up with. How is quality and shipping time etc?

The Renntech vents are much more aggressive and brand labeled. I like them but prefer the APR’s because they are basically the OEM style in carbon fiber which is the look I wanted on the Pro and how it should have come from the factory. CF weave on both is top-notch.

lol. My wife couldn’t even watch. She would peek through the door every once in a while. It was very scary. My biggest surprise was that the GTS has aluminum fenders. I had figured composite of some sort.

Finished everything today! Also upgraded the grill and add some carbon fiber to the front bumper. Looks like a different car!

How did u source the renntech and art that goes below the louvers? I called them up and they basically declined to sell me that part because the louvers i have are from APR

Out of the box, the APR fenders will not work with the Renntech fender extractors. I had to cut off the tabs on the APR vents and use double sided tape. The Renntech extractors are obviously made for the Renntech vents. I took a gamble because APR is made to OEM specs. I have only dealt with John at Renntech. I also ordered HAS suspension and their revised rollbar. Not sure why there would be an issue ordering the extractors.
