What's because of the fire risk? That Lambos get thrown off the track? Nope, not at the Nürburgring at least. They have actual microphones along the circuit and pull cars out at the end when they are too loud. STOs etc. get plucked out for being too loud, not because of fire risk.

Humor doesn't always translate. Lambos run hot and there are SO many videos of them catching fire - just a little nod to that inconvenient truth about them. According to the US NHTSA its because owners fill their gas tank to its limit....this one just looks like it doesnt like high revs with hot exhaust.

Gotcha. That needed a smiley not the devil . Yeah fire problems in supercars is not limited to Lambo. Remember Porsche recalling all their GT3s in 2014 due to engine fire risk, and more recently a few McLaren Sennas caught fire for no reason?

i cant imagine any track in north america throwing a car out coz its loud or at least havent experienced or heard of this either

europe on the other hand has always been boring and lame anyway so not surprised if they are doing that there

true. im definitely one of those for whom sound is a huge factor when buying a car. my music is always playing at low volume coz the main soundtrack is that amg exhaust note.

planning to get in to a pre facelift amg gtr in the next couple years and then holding on to it as things will only get worse when it comes to sound at least.

Stick with your plan, I just came back from a long morning drive in my PFL GTR, the sound is so visceral and connected, that's an event on its own

Thats nonsense. Any track that is remotely close to residential will have a noise limit - Laguna Seca and Sears Point do.

The market is most certainly in a correction phase - some of the crazy numbers are softening...honestly $230K for a decent 458 just leaves me shaking my head but I digress

I think the GT line is misunderstood by most exotic car enthusiasts...they understand Ferrari, Lambo etc, but the AMG GT line gets relegated to standard issue Mercedes AMG, which is cool, but generally not exotic. The Pro at least with 12 month trends seems to be standing out and showing the signs of an outlier. Whether that sticks, I agree its shaky. BUT, it is a limited production car, does turn heads (most people are scratching their head wondering "what is it?") and can easily run hard with any exotic out there. And of course, they are no more.
I’ll throw my GTR Roadster into that category…but I may be proven wrong. 750 total built. Massive performance. Not much out there that fits into the same category and mold.

Im pretty convinced there are fewer than 750 Roadsters and Pros actually made tbh. I know its advertised that, but having looked at the market for the last few years - I think there are fewer made than that.

I suspect that's a seriously low-ball offer for a GTR Pro with that mileage. I've been keeping an intermittent eye on AutoTrader and Kijiji listings and it seems likely that you could get some action at about $50K CAD higher (assuming the car's not been trashed). Other than the crazy market conditions, the "getting near the end of 'the season'" issue is a factor.

Really eh? Maybe I should throw it up personally and see what is out there. I thought it wasn't that bad.

Naw the car is in great condition. I'll throw it up this weekend at 240k and see what hits I get. Also going to call August Motorcars in Kelowna and see what they think.

Thank you for that info man. Much appreciated.

I wish I was trading but I am not. I'll miss out on the tax savings. The BS I would like is private.

Also try the Mercedes dealer in Kelowna. About 6 weeks ago, the people at Langley Mercedes asked me whether I was interested in selling mine, so also give them a call.

I have been playing with the thought of selling my PRO.
Looked the other day (Autotrader) and there were only 2 PROs for sale in Canada, both over 300K. Of course that is pretty high.
But then looking in the US, the PROs appear to be asking over 220K US.

Fack, if I could get something north of $250K CAD for my PRO I think I would be pretty motivated to sell it.
Mine just rolled over 13,000 km.

Oh BTW, I did buy an new track car, LOL. 1992 Camaro. B4C/1LE manual car.

awesome looking track car! Looks like fun.

Most I’ve been offered from dealerships thus far is 190cad.

They will keep coming down, but if you want one right now, there are a number of them for sale at about that price. Many have been on the market for over a month.

Small correction. The bidder paid $430K PLUS A 10% commission or $473k. This is the same price as the last one they sold in their Harrisburg auction.

As far s pricing goes, market pricing in my assessment is reaching the bottom. There are only 7 new ones on the market now and 37 used ones.

These are rather low inventory numbers when compared to the Porsche and Ferrari markets.
