Question for anyone who has installed GT4 wing on GTR

Do u use the same bolts that are on the current GTR wing?

Pic is of the gt4 wing from youtube.. just making sure i have everything needed to mount the GT4 wing on my GTR

I used different bolts than the stock ones for GT4 wing angle adjustment

could you give me info on what size bolts? Did the stock bolts not fit the gt4 wing?

you will need to open the trim from inside the hatch and remove the stock GTR wing mounts and replace them with the mount that came with the gt4 wing

your car looks amazing. what front splitter is that ?

I realized I didn’t get the GT4 mounts.
Luckily friend ordered same wing and i can use his and they will ship the new ones to him 👍

Yeah u will need the mounts..

front splitter is from amazon.. not proud to say that but couldnt find anything else for it at the time

Get the renntech diffuser extension.. makes a huge difference in how the car looks

so i got the lower mounts. Now i can’t get the deck lid piece off. removed the 16 nuts. it moves a little but won’t pop out no matter what I do. is there adhesive or something ? need to heat up perhaps ?

I believe there is adhesive there.

Tikt got back to me confirmed there is adhesive tape on the outer edge.

Yeah heat gun did the trick for me

Once u have the base off theres 2 screws on each end to take old mounts off which u will need to replace with longer screws for the new mount

was a pretty simple job

I ended up using a blade on the left and right as per TIKT recommendation worked pretty well. I wish I had known there was a left and right lower bracket. Had to redo the whole job. They look nearly identical. Second time around took me exactly 40 minutes start to finish so i’m really good at it now. 😂
