Regarding the carbon I’m gonna eventually switch everything over to gloss. This car is a project for me. Im not concerned with resale. The way I see it with everything going electric in the next few years I’m keeping this and gonna have fun with it!

Hi everyone. I just bought a 2018 GTC roadster and I'm looking into the options for changing the center console. Mine has the aluminum surround, with silver fiber interior (and matching silver fiber strips on the doors). I would really like to have aluminum surround with matte carbon fiber, but it sounds like that might not be an option (?)

Two questions.....
1. Is the console all one piece, or do the aluminum and carbon fiber come apart (so I could just swap out the interior piece)? I haven't taken it apart yet but from what I can gather it sounds like it's all one piece.
2. Can anyone add any details to these part descriptions, i.e. the outer & inner color/finish for each? The online description below doesn't really specify, and it's hard to find any actual photos of the parts.

Yes, it is allways one part. You can not buy the inlays alone.

190-680-08-02 - Aluminum -> Code: H70 -> Silver with black plastic inlay.
190-680-09-02 - Silver fiber -> Code H84 -> Silver with silver fiber inlay. (Yours)
190-680-10-02 - Carbon Fiber -> Code: H73 -> Silver with "gloss" carbone inlay. (approx. 4350 USD)
190-680-11-02 - Piano Black -> Code: H21 -> Black with black plastic inlay.
190-680-12-02 - Matte carbon fiber -> Code: H21 -> Black with "matte" carbone inlay.
190-680-19-02 - Black chrome -> Code: H94 -> Black (Edition 50 ?)

Black, with glossy carbone did not exist in normal production.
I think, that was only the case with the 2021/2022 stealth models (facelift console, doesn't fit here).

To make it complete, you still need the storage compartment.
The matching middle cover is mounted here. (Code H73)

Wow....Mercedes sure is proud of their carbon fiber bits. At those prices I guess I'll be looking aftermarket. Thanks so much for the info!
