This pertain to the extension MB applied to the warranty on the Transmission, specifically for leaks.
Had just pulled the car out to run some errands, and had to run back inside to grab something. Glad I did, as I found a massive puddle of transmission fluid. I called up my local MB dealer and they towed the car in. They later called to confirm the updated warranty extension on the transmission, and got authorization for a covered transmission replacement.
Two weeks later and my car has a new tranny, with an estimate for $18k, and warranty covered invoice.
2016 AMG GTS with 27k miles - car had been sitting in the garage for 4 or 5 days, previous to finding the puddle, with no transmission issues present pre-puddle.
Damn. This is not good. Any idea where it was leaking from?
Must be an internal issue, as this is all they described in the workup:
"ISOLATED LEAK TO SEEP HOLE OF REAR TRANSMISSION. NECESSARY TO REPLACE TRANMISSIONCOMPLETE"
Apparently MB won't do any repairs on the transmission, only full replacements.

I believe the original transmission warranty extension is now over, and MB would no longer cover the replacement cost.
I can fix these transmissions for much less than the dealer. I can provide references. im not sure if there is a private message function on this forum...if there is then pm me if interested... otherwise post and we can talk somehow.
