Sport Plus Mode

I prefer to use Independent settings. I choose Sport Plus for but keep the ESP on. Does Sport Plus reduce the ESP vs other settings???

That depends on your model year. For the pre-FL, no. Comfort, Sport and Sport+ leave ESP ON and Race puts it in Sport Handling mode. Some people have claimed that Sport and Sport+ have higher thresholds than Comfort, but not according to AMG. ESP only has 3 stages. If they do relax ESP ON in Sport and Sport+, then it's not something they really disclose.

For the FL the answer is definitely yes. The FL has a new system called AMG DYNAMICS, which controls the chassis dynamics in each mode. It's effectively an expansion of ESP and it has 4 levels on top of the 3 stages of ESP, so effectively 12 different combinations, as you can choose the desired AMG DYNAMICS mode and then in addition one of the 3 stages for the ESP. The Individual mode also allows selecting the desired AMG DYNAMICS mode, so you can combine your preferred chassis dynamics with any of the other settings.

Then for the GT R and above and 2019+ C63S with ESP OFF you can further adjust traction control in 9 stages from fully on to fully off. So quite an adjustability. I have both AMG DYNAMICS and the 9-stage TC in my C63S coupe and I like it a lot.

It is not facelift.
2020+ are facelifted models.
Unless you got a super late 2019 with new MBUX/digital display?

Do you mean AMG DYNAMIC SELECT? That's just the system to change drive modes. That's not AMG DYNAMICS. I know the names are very similar. Yours isn't a FL. If you have AMG DYNAMICS it'll say so in the drive mode configuration and when you bring up the AMG performance displays like the one below that shows what modes all the systems are in. It'll show the AMG DYNAMICS and the ESP mode.
