You also need the appropriate "hook wrenches"

I have these in my shop equipment:

Not 90mm bolts. If you want normal wheel bolts instead of studs and nuts (with stock rims):

Bolt:
Head: "Kugelkopf" ballcollar? radius: R14mm)
Thread:M14 x 1.5
Length: 27mm (stock) + 15mm (spacer) = min. 42mm - max. 45mm

General wheel bolt infos:

Tread be measured from thread end to ball collar.

Minimum screw-in depth:
M14 x 1.5 = 7.5 turns (All GT)
M12 x 1.5 = 6.5 turns

Spacers:
High: 15mm
Bold circle: 5 x 112mm
Centering: 66,6 mm

H&R works. (and all other brands)
Recommend SCC, these are more stable in the centering than the H&R. (Own experience)

The hook wrench do I need both of those sizes? What's the process? Just rotate the nut until it hits the bump stop?

Hi,

Yes, you need both hook wrenches.
The large one for turning the spring plate and the smaller one for opening and tightening the lock nut.

I simply turned the lock nut to the stop and then the spring plate. This is the lowest legal position in Germany. Was enough for me.

You can also go deeper if you remove the stops. Residual thread is enough. The stop ring is pinned.
Getting the steel pin out of the aluminum stop ring shouldn't be easy. Simply cut the ring (do not damage the thread) and remove.

I don't want to get too close to you. You ask the simplest things. Do you have practical experience?
If not, please get help from an experienced mechanic.

I don't mean it badly. A mistake can sometimes be expensive. Dangerous at worst.

Best regards

Stenzel
