How confusing is that? I left the car wash with (what I realized later) my trunk lid somewhat opened (but not really). The car welcomed me with this red warning "Parking Brake (P) see owner's manual" message. I pulled over, tried to engage the parking brake manually (no luck), but it was automatically engaging and disengaging when putting in P and shutting the car off. So I drove back home not seeing other options. Annoying as hell... I then at the driveway noticed I was unable to kick-open my trunk. I opened it via button (it popped), locked it afterwards -> the Parking message is gone. Yellow icon gone. Kick-opening works again.

What part of manual did I skip that I did not know about it?
