fistral - but that Volcano Red....WOW. Which italian? I was looking at a 488 Spyder in comparison and this was the winner. Ive had seat time with an F8 and would say its more comparable to that than anything else.

depends what you are talking about but largely yes. Earlier versions of course took most of the issues, and they were sorted in later years. Charge tubes etc all updated on later 2020....but they still are finicky as all hell with things related to the electrics. All of that disappears the minute you start driving.

I'm going to guess that they are just not desirable. I'd wager that most vert buyers will want the C, and most prospective R owners won't want a soft top. The only benefit I can see to the car, is that it was the only way to get an R with an interior color other than black. It's crazy that there are nearly half as many R convertibles for sale, as R coupes, yet it was a limited production number trim.
LOL, not as desirable? Just like all the 488 and F8 spiders and the 720S and 765LT spiders and….etc. Obviously I’m biased having had 2 GTR Roadsters. But the Roadster is every bit as capable on the track and on a twisty road as those cars mentioned above. Mine as a full Renntech R3 car happens to be just as capable in a straight line as well…..only it happens to be MBZ engineered which is best in the world. We’ll see how the next couple of years play out. I predict the GTR Roadsters will take off just like the SLS did…
