Anyone have installed 10.5 or 12.3 inch screens on older GT?

Anyone have installed 10.5 or 12.3 inch screens on older GT?
I'm in the process of purchasing a 2016 AMG GTS.
The car doesnt have carplay so I was considering some options. I saw that some have upgraded their screens entirely.
I have searched Aliexpress (i need to buy from here), but couldnt find any android screens made for AMG GT.
It seems like many are built for C class and E class, etc.
my questions are
1. any problems for those who already have upgraded?
2. I think 16 GTS has NGT 5.0. Can i buy any 10.5inch or 12.3inch screen made for NGT5.0? Or can someone help me link one that's made for AMG GT..?

There must be a vendor in the US that is local to you - but you can order this unit from these guys (where i got mine) - perhaps they can order for you or you can get the same unit locally Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - Braybrooks

I have done the Android 10.25" upgrade myself on my 2016 AMG GTS. I made a detailed installation video of the process I went through on mine. I got my unit from DSP Cardesigns. If you want to see the video, this is the link:

Hi,
I've seen it so many times and never understood it. :-) :-)
Small practical tip:
If you are working on the center console, sit on the passenger side.
You have a lot more space.

Great video, I installed the same screen on my GTS. Looking at this video I will for sure redo where I put the speaker, the GPS antenna, wifi antenna, and drill the holes for the USB connection on the center console. I got a lot to re-route

I'm genuinely curious because I installed the andriod auto module on my '18 GT, and am disapointed that I need to switch the native radio to AUX to get any sound that comes through the phone.

Hey DarkKnight, a couple of quick question for you. - when you use the android screen for navigation, but would like to play the radio, how does it interface? - do you need to switch the native radio to Aux to hear navigation instructions? - and 2nd question, when you are on the android screen and change the temperature. Does it show in the display, or does that only work when you are on the native screen?

As for temperature controls- yes when you adjust the climate the temperature details pop up at the bottom and then fade away after a few seconds.
