2024 Order Guide
#26
I placed an order for a GT63 (California). The dealer got 4 allocations - two 55's and two 63's (with February build dates).
Pricing is not yet available, but options prices are showing up in the dealer's computer and appear to be identical to the SL. Not sure if those are just place-holder numbers or actual prices, but here's some select items from my order:
The AMG Performance Seats (555) are $2,500
Option 409 (listed as "Multi-Contour Seats) is $700
The "Style Exclusive" leather options are all $1,900 (listed as "Manufaktur").
Wheel option RWL is $3,300
Also of note: some options were rejected by the computer with an error of "Unavailable". These were DC1 (Night pkg), and DC3 (aero pkg).
Dealer is working with MBUSA to determine the status of these options. Most likely supply-chain constraints.
Best of luck!

Maybe skip that option then look to the aftermarket for aero-parts.

Some parts are still constrained or unknown. For my order, the factory deleted the aero package and the AMG Sport Seats at the last minute. And they added options I didn’t order namely, the glass roof, the scented AC, and the “Interior Assistant”. I declined the vehicle and the dealer is going to give me another allocation when the options are available. However, the dealer says it’s difficult getting accurate information from the factory. And so we wait.

It took 2 years and multiple cars and orders to get a 2023 wagon almost how I wanted. In the end chose to accept it without DINAMICA headliner and some other things. Factory pulled all kinds of those shenanigans like "Oh no CCB's" but then I see other cars getting them the same build weeks, so I waited etc.
It was a roller coaster of patience mixed with trying not to FOMO on something too far off.
Good luck!

I will say that I contacted 7 different dealers and two offered me immediate allocations, and several others offered me future allocations. So I don’t think the demand is too bad.
I’ve found that most of the dealer reps are super nice and upfront with information, so keep trying.

I probably shouldn’t reveal that - I don’t want to screw up my relationship with them.

If it were me I'd pass. Too many things that are "delayed" - IMO. Not to mention most likely the "S" variant will soon follow and have more HP and upgrades.

And then you have competition from the new Aston Martin Vantage with the same AMG-built engine but with more power (656 vs 577).
So lots of choices.

Agreed! I'm an Aston guy and wouldn't even have to think about that one. Vantage or even DB12 over this all day long. But I still prefer the C190 GT R to any current Aston for performance driving. For everything else, Aston. The easy solution is to have both.
