New PB Laguna Seca on corded tires 😁
Amazing day yesterday. 72 degrees in Feb ! 63 at 8 am. Lots of fast cars. Got to play with a AMG GT4 with a race team. Tires were gone and corded. I was really dialed into the car/track by last session. All 32s last session minus the cool down I did right before the hot lap. Fresh rubber should knock a second off this time in short order. End of last and fastest lap car was feeling more loose /weird. Well my left rear had zero pressure by the time I exited track. ☹️. Hard to notice the warning when focused on track.

I don’t know the exact wheel sizes but have you considered supercar 3R? They are really fast tires and surprisingly “cheap”. Not sure if they have sizing for GTR though

They have sizes that fit my 19s. Tried them on my C7Z. Not a fan. So slippery on outlap. They are one sec faster than AR1/CRS on day one but get slower day two and day 3. Atleast on my heavier car they just lost massive grip 2nd day.

Great lap! How much power are you putting down on the upgraded turbos and the tune. Also, how did the new brake pads fair?

thanks. Not a lot more than stock after outlap. Tune was conservative for heavy track use so it seems to pull timing aggressively after the outlap. When it’s cool it’s prob about 100 whp over stock. Maybe little more.its massively faster than tune only. Down low little more than stock , mid and upper is WAY faster.

brakes are still

Do your rotors crack to the outer rim, or do they just become too thin?

ya there pretty sticky and not surprisingly slippery on our lap. Maybe it’s the weight of gtr. All the Porsche and Mclaren guys set PB’s on supercar 3R tires

are you still working with Robin at Giro on better brake setup?
