Cold start sluggish behavior
I noticed when the car is cold, it feels sluggish. It seems to always be in too high of a gear. Just cruising at 30-40mph, it’s in seventh gear. If I want to accelerate (not wot, just to go from 40-50), boost would max out but I feel like I’m pretty light on the throttle.
When the car is warmed up, everything is normal and the car drives like an actual car. It’s almost as if there are two tunes on it. One for cold engine and one for warm.
is this intended behavior?
Put it in Sport+ or Race and the drivetrain will be set up for maximum performance. This will set the suspension at full stiff but just push the suspension button to set to comfort if that is where you want to be (or any of the 3 settings). That should solve your problem. Also, if you are driving in automatic mode, I would also suggest pushing the manual button and shifting yourself as that is where the fun is. I have never driven a GT R in auto mode and don't intend to start.
From page 102 of Manual:
"Avoid high engine speeds and full throttle until the engine has reached its operating temperature. ...
During a cold start with low engine oil temperatures (below 32 ‡) (0 †), the maximum engine speed is restricted in order to protect
the engine. To protect the engine and maintain smooth engine operation, avoid driving at full throttle when the engine is cold."
