Sun protection on front windshield
Now that sun is out in NC, I wanted to know how folks kept heat and UV mostly out of the cabin of a AMG GTR when parking during the day in an outside parking lot?
Has anyone tried the UV blocking film "tint?" on their front windshield?
Do you use the old school windshield shade? If so where did you get it so I can get one...

Tint may not be enough for the front, esp since the leather dash is prone to lifting/warping secondary to adhesives drying out via UV/Thermal damage.
Costco has Coverking Sunshade for $35 (Item #: 1245764) - confirmed to fit GT R
Will have to search for a 2019, GT S, with "small control box" - the GT line up should same/similar Windshield dimensions.

I have 70 percent on windshield and 35% on all other windows. Helps a bunch for summer driving, parked and protecting interior from direct sun.
Just check what percent tinting is acceptable on your state.

I bought a Weathertech sunshield (custom fit) for my G. Reflective foil on one side for summer and absorbing black o the other side for winter. Rolls up and stows easily.

I had 70% XR tint put on the windshield, sides, and rear of my Raptor. It's great, it's not really dark enough to notice when you are driving, but it blocks a lot of heat in the summer and blocks 99% of the UV rays. I would get it on anything nice I get in the future. If it's out for a while in the summer, I'll still throw a sunshade up too.
