All this time wasted posting to this thread, and no racechip. We should take up a collection for you. Better yet, if you had worked two hours a week at McDonalds, you would have had enough money to buy brand new by now. So, start working now! On the racechip site they advertise installment plans. Maybe they would work out a special plan just for you!

Seriously it's not that I can't afford to buy a new one ... it's more that I like the product but think it's priced _way_ too high (if it was half the price, I'd actually buy a new one).
