Just picked up my new to me black series from ppf and I have a light on now saying the hood is open. It is very much shut. I’ve opened and closed it many times. I assume a sensor issue? Has anyone had anything like this? Any tips on how to resolve? I called dealer they’re still struggling with their system it’s just coming up they can’t see me until next week. Would like to drive it but annoying bc the noise is beeping nonstop that the hood is open.

How about looking for the switch and unplugging it and plugging it back in.

I'm betting they removed the front bumper when installing the PPF (they did on mine), so possibly the sensor is still unplugged or it got nudged further down and isn't getting fully depressed. You might be able to ask the PPF installers to take a look at it; I'd trust my ppf installer over a dealership for body stuff any day.
