Trying to do some home work here. I'm new to the MB world and would like to understand the chassis generation codes and similarly the engine and ECU nomenclature and codes. I hear and see a lot about ECU codes such as M177 and ver. LS1 and LS2. Specifically what ECU and version does the new GT55 and GT63 use? Finally is there a chassis code for these cars and what generation are they? Thank you in advance.
