Anybody attempted upgrade to LED illuminated sills?
The electrical schematic indicates that the wires from the AMG gateway module and connectors are standard without the option code U25 (Illuminated Door Sills) present on your factory option card.
I tried both left and right to find the connector but the harness is about 4” thick and you need to remove the seat to get better access.

Hi,

I retrofitted the door lights. The cables with plugs were there. They were in a small channel in front of the seat.

I can't tell you whether the seat really has to be removed. My seat was out anyway.

After installing the illuminated door sills, you still have to code. Otherwise nothing will light up.
