When I'm using my car on track I'm using the OEM Schroth harnesses with my Recaro bucket seats, but I'm wondering what people do with the seatbelts when using the harneses?
Is there some sort of clip or retainer I can clip them on to as I can hear them flailing about under heavy braking and cornering.
It looks like there is a small thread sticking out behind the seat but there's nothing there to attach the seatbelt to.
There are two threaded pins behind the seats. Two plastic cross-shaped knobs are screwed onto them. These secure the standard seat belt.
This is especially important for vehicles with "Pre-Save" features, as otherwise the belt will be retracted.

Ah, I have the threaded pins but not the knobs to screw on to them. Struggling to find part number for them to buy replacements.
These are standard industry-standard M8 cross-head nuts (thump nuts?)
I was also missing one of the two nuts. The original part isn't particularly high quality.
If you want the original look, buy these thump nuts:
brass M8 thread inside, without through-hole, diameter approx. 40mm.
Example:
Since it's difficult to secure, I got some snap hooks with short straps and mounted them with these thump nuts. With this solution, regular M8 nuts are sufficient.
Example (You find better ones):
Hmm it looks like the 2 threads I have behind the drivers seat are also behind the passenger seat but they are used to secure the carpet not for the seatbelts to attach to when not in use. Mine were also definitely not M8 as the nuts I ordered are too big
