Engine oil level does not display
Engine oil level does not display
Recently did an oil service, where later that day i got a “reduce oil level” so i did and wanted to check the oil level…
Here is my problem: I want to see the oil level - but it does not appear in my service menu. My menu ends with "coolant". My menu will not scroll down any further.
i have seen people accesing it on pre-facelift gts models. I have a facelift. The one with digital clusters.
ofcourse i have a traditional dipstick, but shouldnt the car display the oil level?

Depending on the exact model year of your car, the steps to access the “Workshop” menu can vary.
The procedure in the link below is for a facelift 2020 GTC, but it may work for your car as well:

Once you’re in the Workshop menu, use the guidance in this post to view and monitor the oil level:
https://mbworld.org/forums/coupe-roa...cking-oil.html
Just remember that the displayed oil level will only be accurate once the engine oil temperature reaches approximately 200°F (93°C).
Regardless of the above. Dipstick is the way to go (still at 200F), see this comment: https://mbworld.org/forums/coupe-roa...ml#post9232686
