Canopies
Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced canopy that one person can erect?
My driveway is out in the sun and it gets really hot so I thought that a 10 x 10 canopy would work well to give me a way to keep the cars out of direct sunlight while I work on the.
So far, most that I have seen appear to require two people to set them up or they cost $200 and I don't want to spend that much.
There must be some place that has something like this available but I have not found it yet.

yea, a canopy is just used so that the sun won't be directly above the car and the car is given shade and it will reduce the amount of water stains and make it easier to apply and remove products. Well in the detailing scene. any canopy will do. if you want, you can staple fabric to some sticks and put that up if you want.

If you're looking for a cheap canopy that you can put up and take down (by yourself), you should be able to find some 8x10 or 10x10 canopies at local discount stores like Walmart or Target. You can even try Home Depot or Lowes. The problem is that this is a seasonal item, and most of these stores are probably cleared out of them by now (August).
For a more industrial canopy (like the ones they use on the TV Home shows to cover their carpentry stations), you can probably find these on the internet, but I would imagine you would pay a lot more for them. The one's I have seen fold and unfold rather quickly. They're designed like the newer folding chairs.
