Ahhhh!!!! Help Me!!

AHHHHH!! my dad put old and wierd looking wax onto our CLK and if won't come off when I buff it, it stays on that it seems like there is oil all over the car. How the heck do i get wax OFF my car?! Is the only way to do it by washing it again with car wash soap?

Was it a glaze or something? Does buffing it not even it out? If you have any quick detailer you could try that. Otherwise a wash might help. Dawn will strip the oils, but I wouldnt reccomend doing a dawn wash to often, dawn will also leave you with no protection.

whoa, my dad just showed me the bottle...

it's actually an old bottle of ....drum roll please...."Meiguars Mirror Glaze" ...ok, now i expect something really nice from them after i hear nothing but good comments from meiguar users. Ok, yes it is a "glaze", but i have no time to wash it now, it's dark out already....so can it wait till tomorrow...or will the glaze "harden" or something over night? Will it be even worst if i wait till tomorrow?

As long as its just streaking occuring, there should be no harm in waiting till tommorrow. If theres actual residue on the car, the longer it stays on, the harder it will be to get off.

I totally 2nd that, there is no harm in waiting till tommorow morning to do it. If you want to try and save the remaining wax on the car and just remove the streaks, try a regular car wash first if u have time.
