I do a three step wash.
1. Touchless two step (from Image car wash) spray on two separate solutions, one alkaline, one citrus. Rinse off with power washer:
https://washproduct.com/collections/...AAEgK3T_D_BwE2 I 2. use a silicone infused soap and coat the vehicle with a foam gun and PW
3. using a three bucket method; 1 with soapy water 1 clear water with scrubber to help remove the dirt 1 for wheels and a proper mitt. Scrub after every panel, use a different mitt for the lower and rear sections

DI water for final rinse.

The benefit of this method is using the touchless removes 95% of crude and 100% of loose dirt leaving only a light film which is less likely to crud up the mitt and be reintroduced on other areas..

Further I have found that a 75/25 polyster/polyimide fiber is better than a finger mitt.

Anyone ever heard of P21s total car wash? Their claim is that it will detail an engine bay with 5 minutes of cleaning.

Never used it for that, but they make a good wheel cleaner, no acidic. Spray on power wash off.

Yes, that’s exactly how they say to use it(but first cover up the alternator).
They also claim it is safe for any material found in the engine compartment, and biodegradable.
Full strength out of the container, no need to dilute.

The P21s guys definitely say not to use a pressure washer. Regular garden hose with the typical 60-80psi city water pressure.

I wanna tell you an easy and cost effective way to wash a car.Start from the top of the car and wash all dirt and debris. It work your way to avoid dirty runoff.Prefer to use a micro fiber or a wool wash mint to avoid scratches to the paint.Work in sections and never dry your car in direct sunlight. It will damage the shine and destroy the car paint.Instead use a dry aid or a quick detailer to remove the water stops.
use a stiff wheel brush to wash the tires of the vehicle properly and Make sure to wash your car on regular basis. Its a best way to increase the lifespan of the vehicle and keep it look like new. Also use a cleanerspray on the seats and then agitate it with the cloth. It is helpful to keep the car internal look like new.
