I purchased a sea sponge from a car detailing website. I received the sea sponge and have been afraid to use it because it feels too rough? Is it possible I got the wrong sea sponge? When I wet it, it feels softer but still feels as though it could scratch the paint.
Any thoughts?

Hmmmm, I'm not sure myself, but don't they market sea sponges to the beauty industry because it helps to scrub away dead skin? To me, this sounds much too abraisive to use on my car.Originally Posted by knifegun

Personally, I use a nice quality, 100% cotton, car wash sponge.
