Goodyear Brake Dust Repellant

Just tried some today. It goes on like a foam, after 15 seconds you wipe it off.

I'll advise of results after a week or two of driving (brake dust accumulation )

Anyone else tried it? Thoughts?

Good thought, but I already applied the stuff to all four wheels (not tires) yesterday. Oh well

Lemme know if it works better for you...big flop for me.

From my review last year.....

Anyway, if there is anything positive, it was that the treated wheel seemed to wipe the dust away very smoothly. Perhaps that will be the plus with this stuff....easy wiping or rinsing.

After spray and a few miles on the wheels.

No spray with just wiping and putting a few miles on them below.

I just use some sort of Quick Detailer (Mothers is really good btw). It makes cleaning the wheels easier (the dust wipes off easier)

Update: The stuff did not do anything appreciably noticeable re: keeping brake dust off my wheels or making brake dust easier to remove after 2 weeks of use.

I think the best we can hope for is to have the dust at least come off easier...a couple coats of wax or Zaino will let it wipe off pretty easy....

I do this and have found it to work quite well.
