Water Marks before Zaino
Al (et al)-
I ordered Zaino and Meguires #9 last week and have been reading up on the forums for application.
I forsee a problem though...I have a black car in Arizona and I don't get a chance to finish drying it before the dry air does. The result is water spots in many places. Even if I go over the spots with a damp cloth, I get water streaks. I'm under the impression that Zaino will lock in these spots and streaks. Will Z6 before Z5 take care of this? Do you have any other ideas?
PS- I'm nervous about #9 taking off my clear coat and hurting my car in the long term. Is this a valid concern?

If you use #9 frequently, you still would be hard pressed to go through the clear coat. That being said, I only like to use swirl removers at most twice a year. AlBoston polishes whenever he feels like it for the most part, but I'm sure you will be fine.
As for water spots, use Z-6 and a cotton or microfiber towel. Use the Z-6 sparingly, a little goes a long way. Some water spots can still be removed with Zaino over them, largely because the Zaino has not really sealed in the water spot. If you miss a few here and there, go at it with Z-6 again.

that is pretty much a great recommendation. Remember Zaino requires another wash after buffing with number 9. number 9 will remove water spots (MINOR) left over from the first wash, and Z6 after the 2nd wash using Dawn dishwashing detergent. Try and wash in the shade and always keep the car wet till u are done and u will be fine!
