Waxing a C230K
Hi all, newbie here. I'm a proud owner of a new C230 K and I just had a question about waxing. I'm a pretty meticulous guy by nature, and now that I have this wonderful car sitting in my garage, it's time to take detailing to the next step!
I've been using Maguires Gold Class as a wax for the past 4 months or so, I like the results a lot. What do you all use for a wax?
I have a particuar question about Zaino, this magic product that everyone raves about. Is it a wax??? How is it applied? Are there any special prepping techniques before you use it? What results do you get?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! I just tinted the windows on my car and I'll be posting pics too, can't wait to show off the new sled

not to sound like a "Zaniac" but...
I use Zaino mostly for the durability, it's not a wax but a sort of sealer. I am very happy with the shine as well but the ability to keep the car protected longer is of more importance to me, particularly in the winter months.
All you need to know is on the zainobros.com web site and the only word of advise I'll offer is "a little goes a long way" so use it sparingly as warned.

it is a clay, you can get the zaino clay for 18 bucks, but if you go to your nearest auto store, they will have "blue clay magic" or something. Ppl said to me to only get the blue one, not the red! It is about 10 bux only, and comes with the spray that is needed

Zaino has an entire range of products, from the car wash to the sealant to the leather conditioner. You are most likely refering to the sealant, which is composed of polymers (Sal will not reveal which), that are far more durable than conventional carnauba waxes (like Gold Class).
