How to clean leather...

I know everyone recommends using Leatherique to preserve leather, but what about cleaning? I have already tried the Lexol cleaner and found it useless....my opinion is that any other mild soap or cleaner works better. Should I try the Leatherique cleaner or any other suggestions?

Oh yeah...this is for a daily driver always parked outside....is it OK to use 303 on top of the leatherique?

Leather cleaning

I use plain old saddle soap from Walmart-sold in a tin Like shoe polish. I then use Lexol or Meguires

never use saddle soap on new leather. Leatherique is by far the best leather product i have used, period. If you dont want to spend the money, get Zaino Z10.

Never, never, never, use saddle soap on any leather, anywhere, anytime. It will dry out the leather and nothing can bring it back like it was.

Leather cleaning

I'm not enough of an expert to know about using saddlesoap on new leather. I have used it on a Jaguar and an older Mercedes for years and never had cracked or dried leather. I always apply the conditioner as soon as the leather dries from the saddle soap. Maybe there is something better out there, but this has worked well for me
