Car Wash Concentrates:
A good quality car wash (Zaino Z-7™ Show Car Wash or Groit’s Car Wash) provides a slightly alkaline pH-7.1 and balanced blend of active biodegradable ingredients, to provide lubrication to prevent scratching, surfactants to lift and encapsulate dirt, road grime and oils. Water quality (pH value, mineral content, harness, etc) and other characteristics will affect how well a car wash concentrate works, although most contain ‘water conditioning’ ingredients.
As well as conditioners to maintain the shine without stripping the paint of essential oils (the way detergents do) and dispersing them in the rinsing process, warm water (not hot) will improve the cleaning abilities of wash concentrates.
Note: Always check the stated pH level of a car wash soap

I agree with TOGWT, make sure it has conditioners in it and won't strip off your current layer of protection. I really like the P21S Bodywork Conditioning Shampoo and the Poorboy's World Super Slick and Suds. Those two will both give you lots of suds from very only 1 - 2 ounces of shampoo. They also both have high levels of lubricity for safe and easy washing.

i am currently using the blue soap i think its by Eagle One and it works great even on my wheels after spraying some rim cleaner and using the car soap and water on a sponge. But my favorite is def Meguairs Gold Class. Its not too expensive, does the job and smells great!!! lol It usually comes in a big see through purple jug

+1 Soft/deionized water makes all the difference. The water is your prime solvent and the fewer minerals it contains the more it can dissolve. It also enhances the soap/shampoo effectiveness so you use less and get a cleaner rinse.

dont know too much about car cleaning. what does deionized water do for you? my only guess is without the sodium/ electrolytes, it wouldnt damage your oxidation. or does it actually clean better for another reason?

[QUOTE=iguess;2282732]dont know too much about car cleaning. what does deionized water do for you?
De-Ionized water (DI) – raw water is passed through a pre-cleaner and then through a cartridge that contains mixed bed resins, a Cation (sacrificial anode) and anion resins, the process is that through an exchange of mineral ions for sodium ions, mineral ions are attached to the resins. Once the resins are depleted, which can be checked with a total dissolved solids (TDS) meter, periodically they require recharging, and the most common material used is a salt bath (the same salt that’s used in a domestic water softener) . One of the advantages of DI water system is mineral free water and little to no wasted water

You lost me here?
