How do I keep the interior clean of a C230 sport?

Hi everyone. I bought an 06 c230 in february. Ash leather interior. Irridium silver exterior. I don't know how to properly care for the inside. I have a leather cleaner that they gave me for the inside which I have not used yet and don't know how to apply. But what concerns me the most is the carpeting and that cloth which not only lines the roof of the car but the edge of the inside of the door entrances. The cleaning kit they gave me has an upholstery cleaner so toxic that it melts rubber gloves but I don't now if that is the best to use or how best to use it. Please help me. I really want to keep my car in top shape.

That is the scariest thing I’ve heard about a dealer supplied product; I would not like to contemplate what it would do to the interior finishes of vehicle, leather, upholstery, carpet etc) my advice on how to use it- find a garbage can open the lid and place the ‘stuff’ in there

Between these four cleaners you should be able to remove 99% of stains occurring in a vehicle and around the home –
(a) 303™ Rug / Upholstery Cleaner & Spot Remover
(b) P21S Total Auto Wash (a citrus-based all purpose cleaner (APC)
(c) Woolite® Heavy Traffic Carpet Foam or Hoover Deep Cleansing Carpet/Upholstery Detergent
(d) Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover

And as suggested Leatherique for leather upholstery

PS: Congrads on the new ride

Congrats on your new purchase! Please do not take any chances with a product that will eat through a rubber glove. If it's something that strong I would only use it with EXTREME caution and detailed knowledge of it's affects. TOGWT had some good advice about throwing it away but I'm not sure if thats even safe or legal. Regardless I don't think it's something you're ready to use.

For your interior; leather, glass, carpets, dashboard, console, trim and more I recommend our Interior Kit # 3. The 303 Fabric Cleaner is the premier interior cleaner because of its ability to easily separate contaminates and lift them for safe removal. Spray the 303 on fabrics with a firm bristle brush to deep clean fabric surfaces and remove deeply embedded stains. It also works on most of your interior surfaces (vinyl, plastic, rubber, fabrics) so one bottle can clean virtually your entire interior. This product can be used at full strength but we recommend diluting it to a 8:1 ratio of water to cleaner. This means you’ll get 256 ounces of cleaning solution from one bottle. Follow up this cleaning by protecting the surface with the versatile 303 Aerospace Protectant. The 303 Aerospace Protectant has SPF 40 for any vinyl, rubber, plastic, leather surface that blocks UV harmful rays and prevents slow fade from sun exposure. Apply this to the dashboard, armrests, tires, plastic trim, rubber seals, moldings, seats, etc. and you’ll see a brilliant shine without the greasy oily feeling that many other generic products leave behind. Don’t forget to protect the fabrics as well with the 303 Fabric Guard. Just spray the 303 Fabric Guard on all of your fabric surfaces for valuable protection from spills and regular traffic. For glass I clean regularly with the Invisible Glass, it’s a great streak free shine and safe on all tints. I also recommend using the Glass Science Rain Clear Kit, which comes with both the Rain Clear Gel and Glass Scrub. Use the Glass Scrub first to deep clean glass and get rid of any embedded deposits like lime scale, acid rain, water marks, etc. After deep cleaning the glass protect it with the Rain Clear Gel. It seals the pores in the glass and prevents moisture from clinging to the windshield. This forces water to form very tiny beads and makes driving in any rain very easy. To clean the leather and condition it use the Leatherique Prestine Clean with a terry cloth applicator. Rub it into the seats with the applicator and wait about 15 – 20 minutes then remove with a damp microfiber towel, followed by a dry towel. If you want a really deep conditioning that really helps revive the leather apply the Leatherique Rejuvenator first. Apply it liberally and let it bake into the seat by letting the seat sit in the sun all day. Then put the Leatherique Prestine Clean right on top of it and follow the removal procedure listed above. After your done your entire interior should be thoroughly cleaned and protected for a stunning appearance.

These are most of my favorite products that I use personally and professionally.
